Karan Chapter 1It all started with a letter. I hadn't gotten a letter in a long time. It was in a creamy beige envelope and it was from the daughter of an old friend. She wrote about life in the city and asked many questions about the farm she once lived on. On the last line of the letter it said "I want to try work on the farm." To a city girl a place like Melody Valley must be interesting. While I was thinking of what she might look like I was reminded of my old friend.
